Online Registration

Registration opens soon. The last day to register online is November 15, 2024. If you miss the registration deadline, you may register onsite at the Secretary of State’s registration desk.

Registration includes official programmed events, a link to the corresponding training material, a luncheon, morning and afternoon snacks. Books and CDs will not be provided or available for purchase.

Registration Fees and Deadlines

Registration Fee: $325 per person
Late Registration: $350 per person

All fees must be received by phone or postmarked on or before November 15, 2024. Late fees will be applied to all registration’s fees received by phone or postmarked after November 15, 2024 .

Payments

Checks

Make checks payable to the Office of the Texas Secretary of State.
Include a copy of your Registration Confirmation Email with payment.

Once processed, a payment confirmation email will be issued to the email address provided during registration.

Credit Cards

Call 1.800.252.8683 (option 1, option 5) to pay by credit card.
Please have your registration number readily available. The number is located in your registration confirmation email.
Cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
A 2.7% processing fee will be applied to all credit card charges by the credit card company. The Secretary of State does not charge for processing fees.
A payment confirmation email will be issued to the email address provided during registration.

Checks and credit card payments will be accepted on-site at the Secretary of State’s registration desk.

Cancellation

Login into the Seminar Registration Portal to cancel your registration on or before November 15, 2024. Your registration confirmation number is required. If you do not remember your confirmation number, click the Forgot Your Confirmation link.
Phone cancellations will NOT be accepted.
No-shows and non-payments do NOT constitute cancellation.

Refund Policy

For a full refund, login into the Seminar Registration Portal and cancel your registration on or before November 15, 2024. Your registration confirmation number is required. If you do not remember your confirmation number, click the Forgot Your Confirmation link.
Refunds will be processed in the order in which they are received.
Refund requests received after the deadline will result in forfeiture of the registration fee.
The processing of a refund may take up to 3-4 weeks.

Substitutes

Login into the Seminar Registration Portal to transfer your registration. Your registration confirmation number is required. If you do not remember your confirmation number, click the Forgot Your Confirmation link.
Enter your substitute’s first/last name and email address. Click Submit. Confirm the change by clicking the Transfer Registration button. Note: The transfer can not be undone once confirmed. Your substitute will receive their registration and event information via email.
After the deadline, substitutes must register on-site at the seminar registration desk and must provide the name of the original registrant. Only then will the substitute be allowed to participate in the event.

Special Needs

The Secretary of State makes every effort to ensure all activities and events are held in facilities that are accessible to persons with disabilities.

Recommended Attire

Casual business attire is suitable for conference meetings.
Please remember that the meeting rooms are kept cool. A sweater or light jacket may be needed.
